i’ve never done this before, but i’ve given plenty to help out folks when i see these posts, so i’m just hoping karma will work in my time of need. i’m a full time student and i just started a new job for the new year which is exciting. what sucks is i started on the week of the current pay period ending so i have to wait 3!! weeks til i get paid since we’re paid bi-weekly. once i finally start getting paid, i’ll be more than able to fully support myself. the bad news is my account is negative $220 after a bill that i couldn’t cover came out of my account and getting slammed with overdraft fees over and over again. i’ve been struggling to get to work or buy lunch and i have no food in my fridge in general. i have a u-pass (a student public transit card) that allows me to use public transit for free to get to work.. but i get off work at 9pm and it’s a rough neighborhood and my coworkers have warned me against being alone at night in that area. i just need money to take an uber (i always do the share option) which comes to $4 and some change per night (i take the bus to work during the day). i also need some money to buy a couple of weeks worth of meals. i’m trying to raise $350– if anyone feels like simply giving from the goodness of their heart, i would appreciate it so much and it would be graciously accepted!! but i also feel bad just asking for money and not giving something in return, so i figured i could offer some of my products in exchange for your small donations. i’m in the process of starting an organic, small batch skincare line called no coast apothecary (get it, no coast because it’s made in chicago?? ;) all products are made from organic, unrefined, natural ingredients. i do not use synthetic fragrances in my products, most products come unscented, but those that do have scents are scented from 100% pure essential oils that are chosen for therapeutic as well as healing purposes. here is what i’m offering:

rose geranium salt soak- pink himalayan salt, epsom salt, meadowfoam oil and rose geranium essential oil (8 oz glass jar) $20 donation

body scrub- a solid body scrub bar made of shea butter, cocoa butter avocado oil and sea salt and is meant to be used in the shower/bath after you’ve cleansed your skin.. just rub it all over your body like you would any other scrub— leaves skin super soft and moisturized- seriously theres no need for lotion after using this baby! 3.5 oz $10 donation
